How to Clear a Problem
- Learn the difference between problem solving and clearing.
- Invalidate the Problem’s Desire.
- Or implement a solution.
The Difference Between Problem Solving and Clearing
They may sound like the same thing, but in Problem Traversal Theory, there’s an intentional distinction between problem solving and problem clearing.
Problem solving is the act of traversing down a problem lineage in relation to an initial problem to discover potential decedent problems that if cleared would decrease the resistance necessary to clear the initial problem.
Problem solving is passive. Knowing a solution doesn’t satisfy the sentient entity’s desire for a thing to transition to a specific potential state.
On the other hand, Problem clearing is the act of either invalidating a problem’s desire or implementing a solution.
Problem clearing is active. Invalidating a problem or implementing a solution that transitions the thing to a desired state is what generates value.
Contrary to popular belief, true value is generated by clearing problems, not solving them.
